WHO IS FULCRUM DYNAMICS

UK Based Aircraft Design and Manufacturing Firm

Fulcrum Dynamics is a company that specialises in design and manufacture for Unmanned Aviation. Founded in 2021, we are a company built on aviation enthusiasm; utilising these interests to produce high quality unmanned aircraft, primarily Helicopters and Fixed-Wing airframes.

We are based in the south-east United Kingdom, however our workforce is spread throughout the UK and USA.

I'm Oscar, I've had a huge interest in aviation since I was around about 4 years old. Throughout education, I learnt there was a lot more to aviation that caught the eye!

Aviation engineering soon became a serious hobby of mine, so I decided to sell my models online, under a completely different name to where we are now.

Fulcrum Dynamics International has expanded beyond belief, It's always been a subject where I feel most proud of!

Our History

Fulcrum Dynamics International was founded on February 12, 2021 by current CEO: Oscar EJ Rawles, in Weymouth, UK.

The company started as a collective contribution group; multiple people contributing to a large project. The project that started the business was designed around a 2-Seater, low-wing configuration light piston aircraft suitable for short distances. Due to funding reasons this project was later scrapped and was never built.

However, developments from this project later sparked the expansion to what FDI is now, with many technologies developed during the initial period still being used today.

The current company, named Fulcrum Dynamics International, is a tripple rebrand of the original "Dorset Flight Dynamics" Group. More information can be found on the timeline below. The International title comes from our global operation scheme.

Timeline

Feb 2021 - Intitial founding by CEO, Oscar EJ Rawles. Named "Dorset Flight Dynamics". Created as a solo side project to free-time-studies with a major interest in aerospace engineering.

Jul 2022 - Rebrand to "Elite Aerosystems UK" as a multi-person organisation with multiple designs of unmanned aircraft available online, including: 3D Models, Standard Operating Procedures[1] and 3D Printing[2] Manuals.

Dec 2022 - Rebrand to "Fulcrum Dynamics UK".

Feb 2023 - Rebrand to "Fulcrum Dynamics International", expanded operations to the United States of America, Spain, France, Poland and Canada. Development of the University Training Aircraft and Educational Sponsorship Programme.

Aug 2023 - First in-house built airframe, test flight of FDI-92FW (FDI's first retail aircraft attempt)

Nov 2024 - Official Sponsor of 1606 RAF Air Cadets Squadron

Our Mission

Our permanent mission is to offer affordable, economically viable unmanned aircraft to businesses that need them.

Industry, Farming, Ect. All businesses can use unmanned aircraft for whatever they need. We want to be there to cater for their needs.
